Located in the Nothern part of South Korea, Gangwon-do is home to the part of the border between South Korea and North Korea. Gangwon-do is blessed with beautiful mountains and clean beaches that offer some of the best sceneries and vacation spots throughout the year.
As a TaLK scholar, this is the province I was placed in. To other scholars, they are probably jealous of me because of my close proximity to Seoul... But this is not the case unfortunately. Even though it is quite troublesome for me to get to different places, I still would choose my placement if I was given a chance for a do-over.
