Like I said before, I intend to visit Nami Island for all 4 distinctive seasons in Korea (Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring).

I feel maybe it was because of the summer season and Chuseok break that there were more people and tourists than I had expected. However, this didn’t stop my friends and me from exploring the most out of Nami Island. Unfortunately, even though we stayed the entire day, we still couldn’t explore all parts of the island.

**Korea is really weird... It was the beginning of October and yet it still felt like summer!

A tip before going to Nami Island: I know you want to take lots of pretty pictures of the trees and all but… Please, please dress in comfortable shoes! You need to walk around a lot unless you opt to take the UNICEF tour train but what’s the fun in that right? :P

Another option for you if you don’t want to walk around the island is to rent a bike and bike around the island instead! (A lot of couples were doing it, too bad I’m forever single :P haha).

Even though this time (my first time) on Nami Island is already early October, the island was still in summer mode. The cool breeze was blowing but it wasn’t as cold as now (I wear my winter jacket everywhere now).

Upon getting off the island, you will see the infamous snowman statues that is suppose to represent the snowman in Winter Sonata. Keep walking straight and you come across the instagram spot of Nami Island haha (actually, you will be surrounded by nature and it will not be peaceful with the amount of people there :P).

Some autumn foliage can be seen but it’s not in full bloom… So I consider this a “Summer Season Nami Island” trip.

There is also a museum on the island and best of all, it’s free! I have noticed this about most museums in Korea, they are always free! You can look up the information online before going to make sure of the pricing and the times of operation!

The museum at the time had an exhibition on the different instruments from the old times, it was definitely interesting! Worth checking out the museum!

There’s also lots of animals that live on the island. We saw ostriches, a peacock and bunnies!!

If you are into taking pictures of flowers and nature, I would definitely recommend Nami Island because of the different types of flowers they have and the breathtaking sceneries they house on the island!

I feel so bad for my friend because she was my personal photographer of the day XD I accidentally sat on some Gingko Tree Seeds and they smelled really really bad so Be careful!
