September 3rd, 2017
Yup, just like the title says, I got lost in Seoul. [This was way back in September - My first time in Seoul!]
My first trip to Seoul and I got lost haha (mostly cause I was trying to steal wifi since I didn’t have any data or phone plan yet at the time). On the day of September 3rd, 2017, I went to Seoul to meet up with my friends from orientation~
On the day of September 3rd, 2017, I went to Seoul to meet up with my friends from orientation~ It’s been so long since I have seen them and I was very excited! I took the earliest bus out to Hongcheon, then I transferred onto a bus to Dong Seoul.
My tickets for Seoul: I have to transfer at Hongcheon (So much work but I do wanna travel)
We made a plan to meet at Sookmyung Women’s University Station at 1pm and I arrived at the station at 10:30am approximately. Yup, I was there way too early but it gave me the chance to go explore the area at least!
I found wifi and found out that there is a park (Hyochang Park) not too far from the station so I decided to take my camera and go explore the park! The park was bigger than I anticipated but, at least I got my daily steps in! Check out my post about Hyochang Park Here!
After exiting the station, I decided to explore the area! The area is so nice, the weather was great and I got to see a lot of Korea in the 2 hours I spent alone exploring! Needless to say, I walked a lot that day (30,000 steps to be exact :P).
The 자몽아이드 I got actually had real 자몽 in it and it was only less than 3000 won! I am still surprised by the quality I got for the minimal amount of money required!
This whole getting lost of Seoul idea is very fun and I definitely would not mind getting lost again! I’m glad I got to go to Seoul early and explore the entire area so now I don’t have any regrets (maybe one, the Embroidery Museum… (They are closed now so I won't be able to visit before I leave Korea sigh) but I can always come back :P).
Don’t worry! I met up with my friends eventually and we went to TATAMI 수제벤또집 + A Raccoon Cafe!! I can honestly say, this day trip has been a success!
P.S. Before I went back to my tiny place, my friend decided to visit Kakao Friends Store at the Seoul Express bus terminal! It was so cute!
