Yup, this weekend… I came to Seoul again 😂 I really should stop ahah Everytime I come to Seoul I just end up buying and spending a lot of money hehe
After going to Nami Island for the Autumn foliage, my friend and I decided to head to Seoul for some more exploring and shopping… Oops, After resting at a Jjimjilbang, we headed out for Seoul Adventures again at 10am from Seoul Station! We walked to Myeondong… going to the Innisfree cafe since we need some makeup and wanted to try their food!
The building is around 4 floors: the first floor is the makeup shop but it’s set up differently than what I was used to so I had a hard time finding this particular mask I wanted.
I took this photo coming down the stairs but you get the idea :P
Once you enter the store, you can take the stairs up to the Cafe!
The Cafe takes up the Second and Third floors: Both have seatings and it has a very green + relaxing feel!
The Second floor is where you order the food and if you choose to go up to the third floor, you can return your trays at the counter on the third floor as well!
Also! On the Second floor, they have a VR experience! I wanted to try it but I couldn’t figure how to work the VR so I will come back next time to try it probably haha
We didn’t go up to the Fourth floor because we didn’t need to, but this Innisfree offers free luggage storage! I have noticed that A lot of the stores in Myeongdong offers free luggage storage (so it is another option besides the lockers in the subways stations as those gets filled up pretty fast).
My friend ordered the Carrot Cake! To be honest, I feel that it is quite expensive but the experience was definitely worth it!
Carrot Cake: ₩6,000
Snow Apple Iced-Tea: I didn’t really feel like eating anything and I desperately needed to replenish my vitamins whenever I’m in a big city so I opted for the Iced tea~ It was also quite expensive unfortunately, but it was good!
Jeju Snow Iced-Tea - Apple: ₩6,000
There are around 3 Innisfree that I see in Myeongdong and the one that houses the cafe needs some walking and navigation to get to haha… but all in all, it was a good experience!
If you want to visit this Cafe:Address: 65-2, Myeong-dong 1-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul (서울 명동1가 중구 65-2)Phone Number: 02-776-0116Operating Hours: 9am - 10pm
